A maternity session is an opportunity to slow down and honor this chapter before everything changes again.
As a Winston-Salem maternity photographer and mother of four, I understand how meaningful this season can be. My goal is to create an experience that feels calm, supportive, and effortless — allowing you to feel beautiful, confident, and fully present in the moment.
With gentle guidance, curated wardrobe options, and thoughtfully chosen locations, we’ll create images that celebrate both the strength and softness of motherhood. These portraits become part of your family’s story — the beginning of the chapter you’ll one day look back on with so much love.

A moment to pause and honor the season you’re in.
From the moment you book, everything is thoughtfully planned with your comfort in mind. We’ll reserve your due date on my calendar and finalize your session once your baby arrives, allowing flexibility during those early days.
On session day, the studio is warm, quiet, and prepared ahead of time. I provide soft wraps for baby and a curated wardrobe for moms, so there’s no need to shop, style, or stress in advance. Sessions are intentionally unrushed, with plenty of time for feeding, soothing, and breaks as needed.
Siblings are always welcome. Whether you’re bringing a shy toddler, a wiggly preschooler, or older children who need a little encouragement, I guide the session with patience, warmth, and an easy, reassuring presence. As a mother of four, I’m comfortable handling all stages and personalities — so you can relax and trust that everyone is cared for.
Your role is simple: arrive, settle in, and be with your baby. I’ll gently guide the rest.

My studio is designed to feel more like a peaceful home than a traditional photography space. Neutral tones, soft textures, and natural light create a timeless backdrop that keeps the focus on your connection.
Your images deserve more than a hard drive. After your session, I’ll help you transform your photographs into heirloom-quality artwork, framed wall pieces, fine art prints, or hand-bound albums designed to be passed down for generations. Everything is curated in soft, neutral tones so it blends beautifully into any home, now and in the years ahead.

The Early Years Collective is designed for the mother who wants a seamless, beautifully curated record of her baby’s first year, from the quiet anticipation of maternity, to the softness of newborn days, to the wobbly confidence of the sitter stage, and finally, the joy of their very first birthday.
This membership includes four Signature sessions, thoughtfully spaced to document each meaningful milestone.

When should I schedule my Maternity session?
I recommend booking during your second trimester to ensure availability. We’ll reserve your due date, and once baby arrives, we’ll set the exact session date within the first two weeks for those dreamy, sleepy newborn portraits.
